Dr. Alexander Kandabarow joined The Orthopedic Group in August 2002 coming from his solo practice. He has practiced in the Pittsburgh area for 15 years.
Dr. Kandabarow received his doctor of medicine degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New
Jersey (Rutgers). He completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in orthopedic surgery. He was granted a fellowship in orthopedic spinal surgery at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Kandabarow cares for spinal problems including degenerative disc disease, fractures of the spine, stenosis, sprains and strains, as well as scoliosis. He performs surgeries, as well as scoliosis. He performs surgeries on the cervical, thoracic, and lumber spine which include fusions, discectomies, decompressions, minimally invasive procedures, spinal
trauma, fusions with instrumentation, kyphoplasty, laparoscopic procedures and scoliosis procedures. |
