Dr. Tissenbaum received his Doctor of Medicine degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He also holds a masters degree in exercise physiology. He then went on to complete his orthopedic training as well as a sports medicine fellowship at McGill University. Dr. Tissenbaum specializes in general orthopedics as well as problems of the shoulder and knee. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery. He is a clinical instructor at the University of Pittsburgh and is actively involved in local area high school team sports.
