Christopher E. Emond, MD

Dr. Emond’s expertise is in the diagnosis and treatment of injuries to the shoulder, elbow, knee, and ankle sustained by athletes and non-athletes alike.

After graduating from Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH, Dr. Emond went on to receive his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. Following a residency in orthopaedic surgery at Boston University Medical Center, Dr. Emond completed subspecialty training in Sports Medicine Surgery at the Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. There he apprenticed under the team physicians for the Philadelphia Eagles, Flyers, 76ers, 2008 World Series Champion Phillies, and St. Joseph’s University.

Dr. Emond is a Candidate Member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and the Arthroscopy Association of North America.
