Dr. Mark Hofbauer has been practicing as a Foot & Ankle Specialist for more than 23 years. Dr. Hofbauer has a BS in Biology from Washington and Jefferson College, and received his Doctorate from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1989. Upon completion of a three-year surgical residency at the Podiatry Hospital of Pittsburgh, Dr. Hofbauer completed an Internal Fixation Trauma Fellowship at The Free University of Berlin, Germany, as well as in the Regional Hospital in Interlaken, Switzerland.

Board Certified in Foot, Rearfoot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Dr. Hofbauer is also a fellow of The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. He serves as the Fellowship Director of the Mon Valley Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship Program, as well as Faculty of the West Penn Foot and Ankle Surgical Residency Program.

Dr. Hofbauer is on staff at Monongahela Valley Hospital, Uniontown Hospital, St. Clair Hospital, Washington Hospital, Jefferson Regional Hospital, Canonsburg Hospital and Advanced Surgical Hospital.
